For this sound installation four mini-speakers have been installed on four street-lamps in the Lundagård Park in Lund, Sweden. Through the speakers a recording is played of the biblical tale of Babel spoken by 27 foreigners in 22 different languages. The project addresses global cultural integration and examines the ideological implications of a universal language (lingua franca) as a means to harmonic cohabitation.

Collected information, pictures, and related comments were used to paper the walls of a gallery space where a special version of the sound installation in the park was also presented.
